This policy explains what data TetouanCity.com collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email, phone number, and (for password accounts) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture. Content you create: businesses you add, reviews you write, places you save, and reports you send. Usage data: basic, anonymous analytics such as aggregate page-view counts for business profiles. These are stored as daily totals, not as records of individuals.
How we use it
To operate your account, display the directory, moderate submissions, prevent abuse, and respond when you contact us. We use your email to send essential messages such as verification and password resets.
Legal basis
We process your data to provide the service you requested, to meet our legitimate interest in running a safe directory, and — where required — with your consent.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Content you publish (business listings, reviews under your display name) is public by design. We use a small number of service providers (hosting, email delivery, Google sign-in) who process data only on our behalf.
Cookies and storage
We use minimal browser storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token) and remember your language. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can view and edit your profile, change your password, and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your personal data and reviews; businesses you added remain in the directory but are no longer linked to you. To exercise any other data right, contact us.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed promptly, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
